We’re recruiting an Associate Buyer to play a key role in developing strategic purchasing plans and sustain long-term relationships with our vendor partners. The Buyer will work with various members of the Purchasing team under direction of the VP of Purchasing to develop product pricing strategies and remain a top retail partner with suppliers.
We’re currently recruiting a Business Analyst to support our IT and Operations teams. This individual will be responsible for the support and configuration of Flat River Group’s Warehouse Management System (WMS). They will assist with analysis, definition, and documentation of detailed specifications for process enhancements within the WMS applications. Additionally, they will be expected to execute system maintenance, configurations, modifications, and installation pertaining to the WMS system that will help meet the company’s operating needs. This candidate will be expected to maintain related training materials & train appropriate team(s) as needed.
We’re currently recruiting an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to champion the safety program for Flat River Group. Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, the EHS Manager will plan and manage the general health, safety, and loss control policies and procedures of the organization. They will design and direct safety training programs to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards. This candidate will partner closely with Flat River Group’s leadership and Operations team to strengthen the EHS culture, enhance safety compliance, and improve performance.
We currently have an opening for a first shift Maintenance Technician II who will be responsible for all building facilities and equipment maintenance functions to keep the distribution center and office running at optimal capacity. This Maintenance Tech will run the predictive, preventive and breakdown maintenance programs for all key equipment in the distribution center, including but not limited to: PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), material handling equipment, conveyors, racking, automation equipment, scanning equipment, etc. Additionally, they will be responsible for the upkeep of the site facilities, office, utilities, safety systems etc. in accordance with safety and environmental protocols and managing third party maintenance vendors. This candidate must be experienced in leading in a Matrix environment in a high volume, multi-shift distribution center. You will have the ability to utilize your extensive and proven interpersonal, employee development, problem-solving and team building skills. Critical success factors in this position are the ability to work and build coalitions within the distribution network at all levels creating value and buy-in.
